These two ladies have equal opportunities of making it to the Final. What will set them apart is composure and proper shot selection.
The last time these two played a match was in Auckland 2015: Mladenovic forced a tiebreak in the first set but was unable to keep the pressure after Vesnina figured her out and made quick work of her in the second half. As long as Mladenovic manages to throw Vesnina off with her game, she has a chance of making it to the Final.
