PSG vs Barcelona (February 15, 03:45 GMT+8)
After spending big bucks, Paris St Germain have had their fair share of Champions League glory in recent years.
Indeed, in 2013 only away goals prevented them from eliminating the Catalans at the quarter-final stage.
This time, it is slightly different.
PSG may still have some big names in Edinson Cavani, Angel di Maria and Thiago Motta, but they are not the force of a few years back.
Neither are Barcelona come to think about it, but even accounting for a susceptible defence, they retain amazing firepower.
This will have some atmosphere I suspect, especially with the PSG owners reportedly allowing the home ‘ultras’ into the Parc des Princes for the first time since 2012.
I’m expecting an attacking contest in bursts with my 🌟🌟 prediction of total goal 2-3 @ 1.92.
Bayern Munich vs Arsenal (February 16, 03:45 GMT+8)
In a Bundesliga they continue to dominate, Bayern remain a class act.
The 2013 champions of Europe may not have totally convinced domestically this season, but they are seven points clear and perhaps even more strongly fancied to do well in the Champions League under Carlo Ancelotti than they were under Pep Guardiola.
This is the fourth time in five seasons the Bavarians have faced Arsenal, and on each occasion when it has mattered, the Germans have prevailed.
They have frequently been edgy affairs and, for the most part, fairly close.
I expect this record will continue and Bayern should have too much know-how for an Arsenal side who must be cursing drawing the Germans again after the North Londoners topped their qualifying group.
I’m going for two more 🌟🌟 bets:
First Half Asian Handicap -0.50 Bayern @ 2.08 and Total Goal 2-3 @ 2.04.
Real Madrid vs Napoli (February 16, 03:45 GMT+8)
Napoli have home advantage for the second leg after winning their qualifying group – but will they still be in contention when Real arrive in Naples?
That isn’t to dismiss the challenge of a side who are13 matches unbeaten in Serie A, but are they really ready to thwart the holders and favourites?
Tactically, can they shock a team with superior ability?
Realistically, this should be a match too far for Napoli as Real’s superiority counts.
A 🌟 bet for me is for it to finish up Real Madrid 2-0 Napoli @ 8.75, with a 🌟🌟 bet of a First Half 1X2 Real @ 2.08.
