FC Koln 2-3 Borussia Dortmund
All hope is not lost for Borussia Dortmund after their new Batman, Michy Batshuayi, immediately answered their call for a scorer.
Pre-match betting odds were tight between the two, with Koln undefeated in their last four football games and BVB starting life without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

BVB’s new man, nonetheless, didn’t let his efforts go to waste as he assisted Andre Schurrle during an 84th-minute counter-attack that led to the winner.
The win kept Dortmund in the running for a top-three spot, while Koln remained bottom as they suffered their first defeat of 2018.
Bayern Munich stay atop the Bundesliga table after taking down a spirited Mainz outfit 0-2. RB Leipzig, meanwhile, put an end to their winless skid by trouncing Gladbach, 0-1, at the Borussia-Park.
Elsewhere, Werder Bremen boosted their survival hopes with a 1-2 upset of Schalke 04, while Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen, Hertha BSC and Hoffenheim, and Wolfsburg and Stuttgart all shared the spoils in their respective matches.
