Gunners are Back in the Online Betting Market!

Well, the forgotten side of the Premier League Big Six is back…and what a way to announce it! Aaron Ramsay bagged a hat-trick as a new-look Arsenal hammered Everton, 5-1, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also scoring on his debut.

In the weekend’s other football games, Burnley made nonsense of betting tips again by sharing the points with Manchester City and the big Sunday game saw Liverpool and Spurs share the spoils in a dramatic clash.

Arsenal 5-1 Everton

The Gunners blew Everton away in a blistering first half which gave them a 4-0 lead, with two from Ramsay and one apiece for Laurent Koscielny and Aubameyang. Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled one back for the sorry Toffees before Ramsay rounded off his man-of-the-match performance.

Burnley 1-1 Manchester City

After a dominant first half, City really should have had more to show than Danilo’s excellent opener. But Burnley hung on to stay in the game and when Raheem Sterling missed a sitter the Clarets fought back. Ederson made a world-class save to deny Aaron Lennon but Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s 82nd-minute leveller lifted the roof off Turf Moor.

Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Wow! What a game at Anfield. Mo Salah scored in the third minute and then looked to have won it with a brilliant injury time goal. Victor Wanyama had levelled with a 25-yard rocket before Harry Kane missed a penalty. But he had another chance after Salah’s goal and made no mistake this time with seconds remaining.

Manchester United 2-0 Huddersfield Town

Jose Mourinho criticised the Manchester crowd after this functional win but they had little to cheer in a goalless first half. Romelu Lukaku improved their mood on 55 minutes before United’s expensive new recruit, Alexis Sanchez, missed a penalty and then poked in the rebound to dump the Terriers into the drop zone.

Leicester City 1-1 Swansea City

Swansea’s revival under Carlos Carvalhal continued with a good point against an in-form Leicester City. Jamie Vardy put the Foxes in charge in the first half but the Swans came out at the second half fighting and got their just rewards when Federico Fernandez nodded home the equaliser.

Bournemouth 2-1 Stoke City

The Cherries followed up their stunning win over Chelsea with another three points which leaves them in the top half of the table. Stoke started well and went ahead through Xherdan Shaqiri but a quick second half double from Josh King and Lys Mousset leaves Paul Lambert’s Potters in the bottom three.

Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 West Ham United

What a game at the Amex and what a win for the Seagulls! West Ham’s Javier Hernandez had equalised Glenn Murray’s opener but two second half beauties secured the win for the Seagulls, courtesy of Jose Izquierdo and Pascal Gross.

Crystal Palace 1-1 Newcastle United

Honours even at Selhurst Park in this relegation tussle but Palace will feel hard done to. Newcastle went ahead through Mo Diame but after Luka Milivojevic levelled from the penalty spot, the Eagles dominated, and on another day would have had a hatful, and at least one more penalty after Jonjo Shelvey got away with a shirt pull.

West Bromwich Albion 2-3 Southampton

The Saints got a crucial first win in 13 to lift them out of the bottom three in a five goal battle at the Hawthorns. James Ward Prowse scored a vital free-kick to make it 1-3 and Salamon Rondon’s late goal proved to be only a consolation for the rock bottom Baggies.
