Football games in the Serie A continue to heat up as football betting fans look at the last two clubs that managed to maintain a perfect record so far.
Juventus are expected to win year in and year out with the amount of talent they have on the roster. Meanwhile, Napoli are surprising many neutrals with their blitzing start to the season?
Which side will keep the winning run going? Let’s find out this weekend!
WEEK 7 SUNDAY:
Udinese vs Sampdoria
The first match this weekend features a side that will have to fight steep betting odds.
Luigi Delneri needs to find the winning formula fast if he doesn’t want to get the boot this early in the season. With Sampdoria getting favourable results left and right, however, the prospects of getting points are slim.
Genoa vs Bologna
Genoa are enduring a terrible start to the season, their draw against Chievo being their second point in six games. They will be plunged deeper into a season-long relegation battle if they fail to stop the free-scoring attackers of Bologna.
Napoli vs Cagliari
Dries Mertens is doing fantastic work on the attacking side for Napoli, his six goals adding to an impressive 22-goal scoring tally. With Napoli’s attack being this red-hot, I don’t see Cagliari ever finding a way to stop the attacks.
This is a sure win for Napoli, so punting for Napoli -2.50 Asian Handicap @ 1.99 can get you great winnings.
Benevento vs Inter Milan
Benevento’s spirited attack against Crotone last time out is worthy of praise, but shooting a lot doesn’t equate into wins if you don’t put it in the back of the net. This fact is what Marco Baroni needs to drill into his lads as Mauro Icardi and Inter come to play.
Chievo vs Fiorentina
This mid-table clash between Chievo and Fiorentina don’t have anything to write home about, but they can offer good football. With no real goalscorer stepping up for either club, Rolando Maran and Stefano Pioli will need to look deep into their rosters for a solution.
Lazio vs Sassuolo
Lazio had a great start to the season, but competing in the Europa League may do more harm than good. A visiting Napoli thrashed an exhausted Lazio on the 21st, reminding Simone Inzaghi to better manage his players’ conditions.
His skills will be tested when a hungry Sassuolo side comes to play at Stadio Olimpico.
SPAL vs Crotone
Both sides are uncomfortably close to the bottom of the table, so a big win here could help them secure their survival early on. Crotone will be coming into the match more confident after snapping a five-game winless streak. However, SPAL’s close result against Napoli is nothing to scoff at.
Torino vs Hellas Verona
Hellas Verona have a worrying scoring problem: Giampaolo Pazzini’s goal in the opener has been the only one this newly promoted side has gotten six games into the season. Pazzini and the rest of the team need to score if they wish to win against a Torino side that was blown away by Juve.
WEEK 7 MONDAY:
AC Milan vs AS Roma
The hardest match to call, this Milan-Roma clash will be an exciting sight for supporters and punters alike. Both have come out of the gates running but suffered a few hiccups. Milan will be pressed to erase the pang of losing to Sampdoria and fend off a strong Roma side. Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko is nothing short of amazing for Eusebio Di Francesco.
I’m leaning towards Roma to stomp Milan even further, making AS Roma -0.25 @ 2.33 an intriguing prospect.
Atalanta vs Juventus
Gian Piero Gasperini and Atalanta should get a pat on a back for turning a horrible two-game stint into motivation that helped them win their next four league matches. However, they don’t have the quality to stop a side as talented as Juventus. Paulo Dybala is already more than enough to take care of them.
Juventus -1.00 @ 2.38 should not even be doubted upon: make your big punt today!
