That’s the question of the week as the next round of Champions League football games come into view, and that clash could turn out to be an epic.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea aren’t having the best of seasons on home soil, but both the coach and the club know how to win trophies. And if you’re going to win the Champions League, then you have to beat the best along the way. So I’m heading to west London for the first of my UCL handicap betting picks.

Conte reckons Barcelona’s weakness is when they don’t have the ball, but you have to get it off them first! The Blues have already seen off Atletico Madrid in qualifying so they won’t fear Barca. Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard both scored three in qualifying and this is a great opportunity for Chelsea’s Belgian to measure himself against the very best.
Chelsea need to stay in the tie, and I think it will be a good contest with between 2-3 goals, and that’s my first 🌟🌟 pick at odds of 1.92.
Bayern Munich vs Besiktas (February 21, 03:45 GMT+8)
Bayern just win games, 15 on the run since November, but they had to come from behind to beat Wolfsburg 1-2 on Saturday. The Germans matched PSG at the top of their group, while Besiktas have stormed Group G and carry a threat with Taliska scoring four along the way.
I’m backing Besiktas, with a +2.25 goal start at odds of 2.01 for a 🌟🌟 bet.
Sevilla vs Manchester United (February 22, 03:45 GMT+8)
Jose Mourinho takes his side to Spain hoping to lift spirits after losing two of their last three league games. Meanwhile, Sevilla have won three on the bounce after a difficult run, so their mood is improving.
The Red Devils convincingly topped Group A while Sevilla didn’t impress, winning just two of their six group matches. With that said, Jose’s boys have every chance of progressing to the last eight.
But I get the feeling he may set up for a first leg draw so, for a 🌟🌟punt, how about Sevilla at odds of 2.12, Draw no Bet?
Shakhtar Donetsk vs Roma (February 22, 03:45 GMT+8)
Roma topped the very tough Group C but face another stiff challenge in Ukraine against a Shakhtar side which consigned Serie A table-toppers Napoli to the Europa League. Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma have won three on the trot though, and that may give them the courage to stand up in a hostile environment.
This will be a tight encounter so my 🌟bet is a draw at odds of 3.25.
