One of said teams are RB Leipzig, which recently overtook Dortmund in the fourth spot of the standings after a commanding win during their top-flight tie against Freiburg.

Leipzig hoped to catch the top four bus, and now, find themselves with one hand on their Champions League aspirations after a dominant 4-1 win over Freiburg last week.

Leipzig have been one of the hottest outfits in the German top flight as of late, producing winning Bundesliga 2024 results to finish the season.

The pivotal cog in their tail-end run is none other than their top scorer, Lois Openda. The young stud has been the spearhead for Marco Rose’s offence this season, boasting 21 goals in the campaign thus far, trailing only behind Harry Kane and Serhou Guirassy in the Bundesliga Golden Boot race.

Leipzig’s late resurgence this season has Openda’s footprints all over it, and by scoring two braces in their past three games, he cements his status as one of the most promising talents in the entire German league.

Wolfsburg on the verge of relegation
