This week is a delightful one for many football betting fans, thanks to the Serie A midweek!
After the frantic action that happened over the weekend, we are rushed back to another set of football games that will satisfy the wishes of demanding punters.
Let’s not dally further and dive straight into the games!
WEEK 10 WEDNESDAY:
Inter Milan vs Sampdoria
Bookies favour Inter to win against Sampdoria despite their draw against league leaders Napoli. Fabio Quagliadera will be a legitimate scoring threat for the visitors, but Mauro Icardi is more than happy to trade goals. I see this ending in a draw, so go for Sampdoria +1.00 @ 2.28.
WEEK 10 THURSDAY:
Atalanta vs Hellas Verona
Hellas Veras suffered a demoralizing loss against Chievo and are dangerously close to the drop zone. They have a tough task of stealing three points against a surging Atalanta if they want to separate themselves from the relegation battle.
Bologna vs Lazio
Bologna’s four-game unbeaten streak was suddenly cut short by Andreas Cornelius. Roberto Donadoni will be hoping for at least a draw when they square up against Lazio at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. I Biancocelesti won 10 of their last 11 matches, so Bologna will have to dig deep for a point here.
Cagliari vs Benevento
Benevento are yet to register a single point in Serie A after losing all of their matches so far. Cagliari would hate to be the side that stops this embarrassing run, so expect the hosts to try and overrun Benevento.
Chievo vs AC Milan
Milan are still struggling to get their act together, and their spot in the table shows just how disjointed this talented roster is at the moment. I think the synergy problems won’t be solved in one game only, so I fancy Chievo running away with the three points. Place your money on Chievo +0.25 @ 2.03.
Fiorentina vs Torino
Torino are on a worrying winless streak after losing two of their last four games. Meanwhile, Fiorentina are starting a mini-run of their own after beating Udinese and Benevento. I see this as a prime opportunity for the Viola to get three more points from the struggling opposition.
Genoa vs Napoli
Dries Mertens may be falling behind Icardi and Paulo Dybala in terms of goals, but the fact that Napoli are still the Serie A leaders at this stage proves just how balanced Napoli’s roster is. To be honest, I’ll be surprised if Genoa manages to force a draw and upset many bookies.
Juventus vs SPAL
The Old Lady bounced back in a big way after obliterating Udinese. Dybala, Sami Khedira and company will be gunning for the top of the table once more by snagging three more points against SPAL. I don’t think the visitors have deep enough of a roster to make a difference.
AS Roma vs Crotone
If you think Crotone’s 5-0 loss to Sampdoria was rough, wait until they head to Stadio Olimpico to face Roma. Sure, I Giallorossi struggled a bit as of late, but they should not find Crotone as a challenge at all. Consider Roma’s -2.25 @ 2.09 for big returns.
Sassuolo vs Udinese
Udinese lost four of their last five matches in Serie A, bringing up concerns about the stability and consistency of their defence. However, Sassuolo aren’t that much of a scoring threat. This game has “draw” written all over it.
