Atlanta Hawks @ Phoenix Suns (January 3, 10:00 GMT +8)
Both sides are pretty much even when it comes to recent form and win streaks. Their scoring is also pretty even, with multiple players contributing on both sides. However, Atlanta are just terrible outside of their home state and will likely struggle against the young Suns. There’s no reason not to go for Phoenix -2.00 @ 2.03.
Charlotte Hornets @ Sacramento Kings (January 3, 11:00 GMT +8)
Sacramento struggle wherever they play. Not even the city’s cowbells can help the Kings at this point. They need to play great basketball or they’ll see themselves as the league’s whipping boys. Punters should just stick with Charlotte -4.50 @ 2.05 to ensure big winnings. Betting on Sacramento isn’t worth it.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Clippers (January 3, 11:30 GMT +8)
Memphis eked out a close win over the Clippers, and Tyreke Evans was the biggest hero for them that game. However, the second Los Angeles team won all of their games since then. They will be a formidable game at home, and I don’t think Memphis can force a close win here. I’d recommend that you choose Clippers -5.50 @ 2.06.
