Boston, of course, didn’t go down easily. In fact, their starters had a good outing on the offensive end with Al Horford and Avery Bradley torching Washington throughout.
Isaiah Thomas was particularly inefficient as he made only eight of his 24 attempts, but the problem for the green shirts is their bench unit that finished with just five points.
It also didn’t help them that they crumbled against the Wizards’ defensive pressure, especially during the last minute of the game.
Game 7 will be on Tuesday at TD Garden where the Celts haven’t lost yet against the Wiz.
