The Pistons are involved in trade talks for Jordan Clarkson. While fans have legit reasons to be excited about this trade, they have to focus on winning over the Nets. The Bulls also have an air of positivity around them with the imminent debut of Zach LaVine. However, hopefulness cannot win games. Things won’t get any better when they head to New York and face Kristaps Porzingis. They can expect The Unicorn to play extra after Jen Selter nominated him for the All-Star Game.
Portland Trail Blazers @ Houston Rockets (January 11, 9:00 GMT +8)
Damian Lillard is surely playing with a chip on his shoulder after seeing the All-Star vote returns for the West. The Magic are another team headed to irrelevance while the Bucks are fighting for the top seeds in the East. While Orlando pushed Cleveland to the limit, their inconsistency makes them a questionable team to root for. Giannis Antetokounmpo will likely overtake Aaron Gordon and just dominate all over the floor.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves (January 11, 9:00 GMT +8)
We can blame Billy Donovan or Russell Westbrook all we want, but the Thunder’s unbelievable struggles are just something we have to get to used to this season. We can definitely expect the Timberwolves to capitalise on their locker room strains and snag another win.
Atlanta Hawks @ Denver Nuggets (January 11, 10:00 GMT +8)
It’s safe to say that the Hawks are already looking towards next season as their current roster just won’t cut it. I’m pretty confident that they’ll mount little to no resistance against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.
