Another big matchup between the Heat and Bulls awaits basketball fans as we’re winding down the 2021/22 NBA season. Miami and Chicago are both on a two-game winning streak, but unfortunately only one team can come out as the winners tomorrow.
Meanwhile, there are three more East matchups as the Hornets, Cavaliers, and Nets visit the Sixers, Knicks, and Hawks respectively, while the Jazz have a date with the Warriors in San Francisco.
Charlotte Hornets @ Philadelphia Sixers
The Sixers are keen to avoid a fourth consecutive loss when they’ll host the Hornets. Philadelphia are fresh from a shock loss against Detroit, while Charlotte just defeated New York.
Prior to the Pistons, the Sixers suffered back-to-back losses against Suns and the Bucks – who were last season’s finalists – which indicates that they still have ways to go in order to achieve their main objective.
Meanwhile, the Hornets look to strengthen their playoff NBA 2022 odds. They’ve officially qualified for the play-in, but moving up is never a bad idea.
Charlotte have been inconsistent all season but now they’re surging at the right time with a healthier squad, although their quality pales in comparison to the Sixers.
Betting Tip: Philadelphia Sixers Asian Handicap -5.50 @ 2.03
Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks
The Cavaliers are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings and they are hoping to move into a better playoff position with a win over the Knicks – who are already eliminated from postseason contention.
Cleveland are 7-14 in their last 21 games since moving into third place in the East last February, and now they’re in a worse situation due to injuries.
Their top defenders in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley are sidelined and they’re hopeful that they’ll get great NBA 2022 news about their health soon.
For now, Darius Garland remains as the Cavs’ focal point while Caris LeVert and Lauri Markkanen will both have to do their parts as well.
As for the Knicks, the focus could turn on increasing the load for their younger players such as Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin, and RJ Barrett.
Betting Tip: Cleveland Cavaliers Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.97
Brooklyn Nets @ Atlanta Hawks
Brooklyn’s bid to make it to the Top 6 continues as they’ll face Atlanta – who they share an identical win-loss record with at 40-37. The Nets are fresh from a loss and tomorrow is going to be crucial in terms of seeding, and the same can be said for the Hawks.
Kevin Durant and co. won both meetings with the Hawks this season, but Atlanta are heating up at the right time just like last year as they’ve won four straight and nine of their last 12.
Health will play a factor in this matchup as both teams are dealing with injuries and illnesses.
Seth Curry (ankle) and Bruce Brown (illness) are listed as questionable, while Kevin Durant is probable to play despite having an ankle knock.
Meanwhile, the Hawks are sweating about Trae Young’s fitness since he tweaked his groin against the Cavaliers despite leading them to a victory and we would be surprised if he’ll sit this one out.
Betting Tip: Brooklyn Nets Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.95
Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls
Former Raptors teammates Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan will share the court once more, but as key players from opposing sides this time around.
Kyle Lowry is fresh from a 23-point outing against the Celtics where he hit six treys, while DeMar DeRozan scored a season-high 50 points on Thursday against the Clippers.
As of the moment, the Heat are clinging on to the top spot in the East and they only have at least a half-game advantage over everybody else.
Moreover, there’s more pressure for the Bulls to win since they don’t want to fall down to the play-in tournament to qualify for the playoffs.
Betting Tip: Miami Heat Asian Handicap -2.00 @ 1.96
Utah Jazz @ Golden State Warriors
The Warriors still can’t get over their slump and one more defeat against the Jazz would push them out of the Top 3 in the Western Conference.
Golden State have confirmed that Steph Curry will be out for the rest of the regular season due to a sprained left foot, which means that Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will have to continue to carry the load.
Meanwhile, the Jazz snapped their losing skid. Utah may have lost two of their previous meetings against Golden State, but the SBOTOP NBA 2022 odds have them finally getting that win in their last regular season meeting tomorrow.
Betting Tip: Utah Jazz Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.84
