NBA: Top-Tier Teams Take Their Act on the Road

countdown banner

It has already been a month since the new NBA season started, and the action keeps getting better as each day goes by.

The Lakers, Clippers, and the Sixers have performed well within expectations while other teams such as the Timberwolves, Heat, and the Suns have been pleasant surprises so far.

For today, SBOBET is here to give you a preview on the games ahead for tomorrow.

Indiana Pacers @ Charlotte Hornets

Both of these teams will carry some momentum as they face off at the Spectrum Center tomorrow.

After enduring three-game losing streaks earlier in the season, both of these squads have turned things around thanks to contributions by some of their key players.

For the Pacers, they turned to the likes of Goga Bitadze and TJ Leaf for a couple of home wins against Chicago and Cleveland forming a three-game winning streak.

Bitadze contributed 10 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks against the Cavaliers last Friday, while he poured in four more blocks after being placed into the starting five in their game against the Bulls on Sunday.

The Hornets will be looking for some home comfort after going 2-2 on their West Coast trip – highlighted by their wins against Sacramento and Golden State last week.

Charlotte had seven players scoring in double digits against the Kings with PJ Washington leading the way with 23.

In their game against the Warriors, the James Borrego-coached squad held the former champions to a low scoring output, ending the game with a 93-87 score.

Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers

The Boston Celtics will look to extend their winning streak to five games as Kemba Walker finds his rhythm while producing some of the best NBA 2019 highlights.

The diminutive guard is the first Celtic to record 30-plus points, six-plus rebounds, and at least four assists in three straight games since Paul Pierce accomplished the same feat since the 2002 season.

In their home win against the Knicks, Walker did his usual damage in the scoreboard. However, it was Jayson Tatum who put the nail in the coffin with his clutch jumper with 1.3 seconds remaining to cap off his 24-point performance.

They will be facing a struggling Cavaliers team who are currently on a two-game losing skid.

Cavs coach John Beilein will continue to rely on the frontcourt duo of Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, who both have five double-double performances under their belt.

Betting tip: Celtics Asian Handicap -5.50 @1.94

San Antonio Spurs @ Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are looking to get back Trae Young into their lineup as they host the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow.

Young only played 11 minutes in their loss against the Miami Heat after he sprained his ankle in the first half.

Young is just one of the several players who are dealing with injuries as Evan Turner (Achilles), Kevin Huerter (knee), John Collins (ankle), and Alex Len (rib) have had their problems as well.

A rare four-day break may just what the doctor ordered for the Hawks, as they try to arrest their three-game skid.

They will face a Spurs team who are aiming to bounce back in their loss against the Lakers. They are to be led by the scoring duo DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge who are averaging 20.6 and 16.5 points respectively.

San Antonio swept their season series against Atlanta last season, which doesn’t bode well for the home team’s NBA 2019 odds of winning this game.

Betting tip: Spurs Asian Handicap

Los Angeles Lakers @ Chicago Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers are gunning for their sixth straight win as they visit the Chicago Bulls tomorrow.

After dropping their curtain-raiser against city rival Clippers, the Lakers have been on a tear and they now sit atop of the Western Conference standings.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been providing the star power for the Lakers, but it is guys like Dwight Howard, Danny Green, and Avery Bradley who have provided the team a huge lift defencively as of late.

Chicago has lost four of its five games despite a retooled roster. They are coming off a demoralising 108-95 road loss against the depleted Indiana Pacers.

They are to be led by their top scorers in Zach LaVine (21.1) Lauri Markkanen (16.0) and Wendell Carter Jr. (14.6). However, their defence needs a drastic improvement.

Betting tip: Lakers Asian Handicap -6.50 @1.92

Orlando Magic @ Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are looking to close out their three-game homestand with a win against the visiting Orlando Magic.

OKC are coming off a big win against the Pelicans in what was a collective effort from their young stars. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way in scoring with 23 points while rookie Darius Bazley tallied 17.

The Magic are reeling from their back-to-back losses against the Bucks and the Nuggets, and they would like to turn the page with their first win on the road this season.

Betting tip: Thunder Asian Handicap -3.00 @1.88

Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets

Head coach Mike Malone would hope that his team will fare much better at home as they host the resurgent Miami Heat at the Pepsi Center.

In their last two home games, the Nuggets needed overtime to outlast the Suns and then got beaten by the Mavericks few days later.

They will face a dangerous Miami Heat team that is firing on all cylinders as of late, buoyed by multiple players averaging in double digits.

Kendrick Nunn continues his rampage by leading the team with 19.0 points per game. On the other hand, Jimmy Butler has posted a healthy average of 14.7 points per game after missing the team’s first three matches.

For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are expected to carry the offencive cudgels with scoring norms of 18.5 and 15.8 points per game.

Betting tip: Heat Asian Handicap +4.50 @2.01
