NBA Preview: Zion Meets LeBron and AD, East’s Top Guns Battle it Out

countdown banner

The NBA action continues to heat up in the second half of the season, and SBOBET fans are in for a huge treat.

Several East powerhouses will be featured in our seven-game slate as the Bucks and Raptors go head to head while the Pacers aim to find their rhythm.

Elsewhere, Zion Williamson and the Pelicans will get to face LeBron James and the Lakers tomorrow at the Staples Center.

Charlotte Hornets @ Indiana Pacers

Indiana have endured a tough stretch as they’ve lost seven out of their last nine – which included a 46-point shellacking against Toronto.

What made matters worse for them is that Jeremy Lamb is out for the season due to a knee injury while Victor Oladipo’s back is sore, which should hurt their NBA 2020 odds of winning this match.

They will face a Hornets team who will look to find their winning ways again after seeing their three-game win streak snapped last Saturday.

After winning against the Bulls, Timberwolves, and Pistons, the Hornets suffered a crushing defeat against the Nets when they shot only 35-per cent from the field.

Last Saturday’s game marked the seventh time in which Charlotte scored below 90 points in a game this season.

Betting tip: Pacers Asian Handicap -11.00 @2.04

Milwaukee Bucks @ Toronto Raptors

Two East powerhouses will clash in what should be a match filled with fireworks. The Bucks and the Raptors have been rolling recently as they own two of the best records in the NBA.

The Bucks just came off with a close win against the Wizards as Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo combined for 62 points to extend their winning streak to three.

On the other hand, the Raptors are fresh from a dominating victory against the Pacers with six of their players scoring in double digits.

The last time that they met on November, it was Milwaukee who came away with a 115-105 win. But as the Raptors have showed us all season, they can still keep up with the best of them minus Kawhi Leonard thanks to their depth and the emergence of Pascal Siakam as their de facto alpha dog.

Betting tip: Bucks Asian Handicap -1.50 @1.97

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Chicago Bulls

Coby White’s name has been mentioned alongside Michael Jordan because of his torrid scoring and he will look to keep that up against OKC tomorrow.

The 20-year-old rookie joined His Airness as the only rookies in franchise history to have scored 30+ points in back-to-back games, and he helped the Bulls snap their eight-game slide with a victory against Washington the other day.

They will face a Thunder squad who is coming off a superb outing in their annihilation against the Spurs last Sunday. OKC have won three straight and 12 of their last 15.

The Thunder won four of their last five encounters with the Bulls, including a home win last December 16th.

Betting tip: Thunder Asian Handicap -7.00 @2.02

Detroit Pistons @ Denver Nuggets

Getting over the hump will be on top of the Pistons’ mind as they try to beat the Nuggets again tomorrow.

Detroit had endured a month’s worth of futility as they’ve only won twice in their last 12 games, and one of them was an overtime victory against the Nuggets last February 2nd.

Unlike before, the Nuggets have a complete lineup now while the Pistons have been busy unloading players to fast track their rebuild.

Reggie Jackson and Markieff Morris were bought out last week while they traded away their franchise player in Andre Drummond to the Cavaliers in the last trade deadline.

The Nuggets aren’t expected to take the Pistons lightly since they have lost two of their last three. Denver still hold the second-best record in the Western Conference and they are keen on staying there for the rest of the season.

Betting tip: Nuggets Asian Handicap -12.50 @2.04

New Orleans Pelicans @ Los Angeles Lakers

Zion Williamson will be meeting some of his basketball idols for the first time ever at the Staples Center tomorrow.

Williamson, who has scored at least 20 points in eight straight games, continues his rise at the rookie leaderboard as he helps his team in their playoff push.

As for the Lakers, they are fresh off of a victory against their fierce rivals in the Celtics as LeBron James provided us with some NBA 2020 highlights.

Anthony Davis has been unstoppable versus his old team as he has posted 43.5 points per game in their previous meetings.

Betting tip: Lakers -7.50 @1.92

Boston Celtics @ Portland Trail Blazers

The Celtics are aching to bounce back as they visit the Blazers in their three-game West Coast road trip.

Boston have won 12 of their last 14 games before losing a tight one against the Lakers in what was an epic battle.

Jayson Tatum lit the scoreboard as he poured in 41 points and he will be tasked to carry the offence once more since Kemba Walker is having knee issues.

The same can be said for CJ McCollum who will be picking up the slack sans Damian Lillard. He compiled 68 points and 22 assists in their last two matches.

Portland are chasing for that eighth spot in the West while Boston are sitting pretty at third in the East.

Sacramento Kings @ Golden State Warriors

Sacramento will attempt to win their first season series against Golden State since 2013 as they meet in San Francisco tomorrow.

The Kings have dominated their Northern California rivals in their past two matches with scores of 100-79 and 111-98 in what is a reversal of fate in the series which the Warriors had won 21 of their last 24 meetings before this season.

Sacramento have been hitting their stride lately winning five of their last seven – which included some shocking wins against the Clippers.

Betting tip: Kings -6.00 @1.95
