The Indiana Pacers and the Phoenix Suns have been surprising packages in the NBA restart as they are yet to be defeated. However, only one of them will come away as the winners after tomorrow.
There are also some notable games worth monitoring as far as the postseason landscape is concerned. The Heat and the Bucks will look to improve their form while the Clippers and the Mavericks are in search for some traction too.
Elsewhere, the Pelicans and the Kings will look to boZiost their NBA 2020 odds of securing a playoff spot with a victory here. And then the Blazers-Nuggets and Lakers-Rockets matches rounds out the six-game slate.
New Orleans Pelicans vs Sacramento Kings
The Pelicans and Kings aren’t exactly the favourites to secure the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, so they would need all the help they can get in order to give themselves a good chance.
For New Orleans, it will come in the form of Zion Williamson, as shown in his recent performance against the Grizzlies.
The burly rookie has played in only 29 total minutes in his first two games. But against Memphis, he played 25 minutes and notched 23 points en route to their first win. It will be smart for the Pelicans to continue giving him more minutes moving forward.
Meanwhile, the Kings are 0-3 with tough losses against the Spurs, Magic, and the Mavericks. Especially against the Mavericks, they were outperformed down the stretch and it didn’t help when the former had a major advantage in terms of free throw attempts.
Dallas had 50 free throws compared to only 12 by Sacramento and they will need to do better against a fast-paced team like the Pelicans.
Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks
Despite having the best record in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks haven’t been in their otherworldly form since the Orlando restart.
They are currently 1-2 which includes some tough losses against the small-ball Rockets and the heavy underdogs in the Nets.
No Bucks starter played heavy minutes in those defeats, so head coach Mike Budenholzer doesn’t have anything to worry much about. However, they can’t afford to do load management when they face a gritty Heat squad.
Miami are 2-0 against Milwaukee this term and they were without their star player in Jimmy Butler when they defeated Boston last Tuesday.
Besides Jimmy Butler who has a sore ankle, Goran Dragic is also experiencing major discomfort on his left ankle and it remains to be seen on whether both of them can play tomorrow.
Indiana Pacers vs Phoenix Suns
TJ Warren and Devin Booker have been treating SBOBET fans with a bevy of NBA 2020 highlights, and these two will be at the forefront of their teams’ offenses tomorrow.
Warren has accumulated 119 points after three games, which includes a 53-point outburst against the Sixers, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
The Suns have their spitfire in the form of Devin Booker, who is coming off of huge performances as well. Phoenix defeated Los Angeles via a Devin Booker buzzer-beater in the last time out.
The stakes are higher for the Suns here as they’ll have to keep on winning in order to try and force a play-in game for final playoff berth in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks
Two clubs who have struggled in the clutch face off in a possible playoff preview as the Clippers lock horns with the Mavericks.
They are both 1-2 in their first three games, with the four losses coming by with a total of 10 points.
While the Clippers remain in the second spot of the Western Conference, the Nuggets are slowly climbing up. So they would need this win in order to maintain their hold.
As for the Mavericks, a win here would definitely help as they try to build momentum.
Dallas were the main beneficiaries of Luka Doncic’s superb play against Sacramento to which he became the youngest player ever to notch a 30-20-10 statline.
Portland Trail Blazers vs Denver Nuggets
Portland are trying their best to make a run for the final eighth spot, whereas the Nuggets are closing in for the second seed to leapfrog the Clippers.
Multiple Blazers have stepped up lately. Other than the lethal combo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony has been a revelation for them by knocking down a couple of clutch baskets down the stretch.
For Denver, Michael Porter Jr. has been scoring at will as he recorded his second straight 30-point game versus San Antonio, while Nikola Jokic remains a double-double threat.
This is expected to be another high-profile Northwest Division showdown tomorrow.
Los Angeles Lakers vs Houston Rockets
The big-heavy Los Angeles Lakers will face the small-ball Rockets in what will be an exciting matchup.
The Lakers are coming off of a loss against the Thunder in blowout fashion. However, that doesn’t matter much for them as they’ve already clinched the top spot in the Western Conference recently.
As for the Rockets, they are also stinging from their recent loss against the Blazers. A win here can propel them to as high as the fourth seed.
Anthony Davis continues to be the top marksman for the Lakers as he’s averaged 24.8 points per game in their first four matches.
For Houston, they are to be led by the dynamic duo of Russell Westbrook and James Harden, who have combined to average 57.7 points per contest so far.
