NBA Preview: Bucks Host Sixers, Doncic, Young Go Head to Head

All NBA teams have their eyes set on making it to the postseason, which is why the games will mean a whole lot more from this day moving forward.

Teams such as the Heat, Sixers, Bucks, Rockets, Jazz, Mavericks, and Clippers are jockeying for playoff seeding in their respective conferences.

Meanwhile, the Nets, Suns, Kings, and Hornets aim for a big playoff push despite having lower NBA 2020 odds of making it.

SBOBET brings you the preview of our seven-game slate as we are underway towards the second half of the season.

Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers plan to start the second half of the season on a high as they host the Kings tomorrow.

Inconsistency has been a theme for them after losing three of their last four, and that can be attributed to their working chemistry because they had to deal with their share of injuries.

The Clippers brought in key reinforcements over these past few weeks in order to deepen their rotation.

Marcus Morris has already played a handful of games for Los Angeles and they’ve also added Reggie Jackson, who was bought out by the Pistons.

Sacramento surprisingly blew out the Clippers in their last meeting as they waxed hot from the perimeter, but it is unlikely that they will knock down 21 pointers again this time around.

Brooklyn Nets @ Charlotte Hornets

Brooklyn were on the receiving end of some horrible NBA 2020 news when they got word that Kyrie Irving will be out for the season due to his shoulder injury.

Irving’s return on the hardwood back in January was a refreshing sight for Nets fans as he’s been a bright spot for the team that’s pushing to make it to the playoffs.

With him out, Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert are going to lead the charge while DeAndre Jordan will be their veteran presence.

They will face a Hornets team who are enjoying a three-game winning streak, albeit against easier opponents.

Malik Monk and Miles Bridges have been superb for Charlotte, while Devonte Graham is a prime candidate for the Most Improved Player of the Year award because of his excellent campaign.

Betting tip: Nets Asian Handicap -3.00 @ 1.87

Dallas Mavericks @ Atlanta Hawks

Luka and Trae match-up once again as both of them make their way up the NBA hierarchy
Luka Doncic and Trae Young reacts after Doncic drills the half court buzzer beater during the Rising Stars game

Often being compared by NBA pundits, Luka Doncic and Trae Young will face off once more in what should be a highly-anticipated matchup.

Trae Young is coming off of a 50-point outburst in a home win against the Heat, while Luka Doncic almost notched a triple-double in a win against the Magic.

The two have been instrumental to their squads to say the least. However, Dallas have had a better fortune so far this season.

The Mavericks are currently seventh in the Western Conference while the Hawks own the fourth-worst record in the NBA.

Dallas have been great on the road at 19-8 while Atlanta are just 10-17 at home.

Betting tip: Mavericks -5.50 @ 1.86

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Miami Heat

The Heat will try to add on to their dominance at home as they host the Cavaliers at the American Airlines Arena.

Miami are currently 22-3 at home while Cleveland are only 8-18 on the road so far this season.

Going back home maybe what the Heat will need, especially after dropping two straight games on the road. They lost against the Jazz before the All-Star break while they couldn’t close out the Hawks yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are on a two-game winning streak after enduring a six-game skid. They blew out the Hawks on February 13th and they won against the Wizards in their first game under new head coach JB Bickerstaff.

Phoenix Suns @ Chicago Bulls

Two struggling teams in the NBA will look to improve their records in order to salvage some pride. Phoenix and Chicago are to be led by All-Star talents in Devin Booker and Zach LaVine in what should be a high-scoring showdown.

Losing has been the common denominator for these teams. The Suns have lost three of their last five while the Bulls are on a seven-game losing streak.

Chicago have been decimated by injuries as of late. Kris Dunn looks to be done for the season due to a knee injury while Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter are also sidelined.

Betting tip: Suns -1.50 @ 1.95

Philadelphia Sixers @ Milwaukee Bucks

The Sixers’ road woes have been well-documented, especially since they’re on a five-game road skid right now. Tomorrow, they’ll be put to the test once more as they visit the league-leading Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.

But despite their road problems, the Sixers are currently on a four-game winning streak.

Brushing aside chemistry issues, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons continue to overwhelm their opponents with their length, scoring, and playmaking ability, while their fellow frontcourt mate in Al Horford has been doing decent for the second unit.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, have been business as usual. They shrugged off their loss against the Pacers by routing the Pistons last Thursday.

Betting tip: Bucks -8.00 @ 1.87

Houston Rockets @ Utah Jazz

Mike D’Antoni’s small-ball lineup will be put to the test once again as they’ll face Rudy Gobert and the Jazz who are 20-6 at home.

After trading Clint Capela a few weeks ago, the Rockets brought in the likes of Jeff Green and DeMarre Carroll to bolster their lineup. However, it will be interesting to see how they will match up against the Stifle Tower.

Rudy Gobert has been a force in the paint for Utah, posting norms of 15.6 points, 14.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. He is supported by the likes of Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic whose scoring averages are north of the 20’s.

James Harden and Russell Westbrook continue to be a fearsome backcourt duo as they’ve averaged 35.2 and 27.0 points per game respectively.

Betting tip: Jazz -2.50 @ 2.04
