This season is such a great time to be an NBA fan and online betting connoisseur.
Any team in the league has the talent and system necessary to beat the top dogs in the league. Case in point is Portland’s 102-86 rout of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
If we put that little nugget into consideration, then even the riskiest betting odds can become lucrative options. After all, nothing’s set until the final buzzer is sounded off.
Indiana Pacers @ Denver Nuggets (January 13, 04:00 GMT+8)
The Pacers are a decent Eastern Conference team, but they struggle whenever they have to leave the state. However, the Nuggets can’t even manage to snag a win at home against the young Sixers. This should be a win for PG and Myles Turner.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Brooklyn Nets (January 13, 08:30 GMT+8)
The Nets are having a terrible home stint, losing all of their last four home games. Things might get a little easier as Anthony Davis is questionable for this match. However, The Brow’s absence won’t make up for the atrocious roster Kenny Atkinson has to work with.
Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks (January 13, 09:00 GMT+8)
Derrick Rose made a spirited return after his controversial AWOL against New Orleans. The Knicks could use some spunk from D-Rose as the Knicks badly need a victory against a Jimmy Butler-less Bulls. Their first clash in November ended well for Chicago, so this could be a good sign for NY.
The game will likely end in a two-possession win for the Knickerbockers, so picking New York -3.50 @ 2.03 is a tempting proposition.
Los Angeles Lakers @ San Antonio Spurs (January 13, 09:30 GMT+8)
The Spurs may be going into this match without LaMarcus Aldridge, but the Lakers are still facing up against a stacked San Antonio squad. Kawhi Leonard’s Spurs are the second-best team in point differential, not to mention the fact that their last game was a rout for the Spurs.
This should be an easy win for the Black and Silver, but Los Angeles should be able to keep the lead less than 15 points. I suggest picking Lakers +14.00 @ 2.03.
Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns (January 13, 11:00 GMT+8)
The Mavs lost by seven points the last time two sides met at the American Airlines Center, and we might see the same thing happen when they meet for the reverse fixture in Mexico City. Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker are on a scoring tear while proving to be a nightmare on passing lanes. I don’t think Rick Carlisle has enough young talent to handle Phoenix.
The home team should win this one easily, so Phoenix -1.00 @ 2.00 is a no-brainer pick.
Detroit Pistons @ Golden State Warriors (January 13, 11:30 GMT+8)
Barring the blemish of a game they had versus Memphis, the Warriors have proved themselves to be pretty unstoppable. While the Pistons can be considered as a good defensive team, they are 24th in the league when it comes to stopping three-pointers.
Steph Curry and Kevin Durant should have a field day against Detroit, but they probably won’t win by more than 13. I reckon that you should take a risk and punt on Detroit +12.50 @ 1.98.
