We’re two weeks in to the new EPL season and, with the league just beginning to take shape, handicap betting fans already have plenty to work with.
Manchester United have quite rightly made the headlines with two 4-0 wins, how long Jose’s team can carry on like that is anybody’s guess. But there are one or two other patterns emerging, and for this week’s Asian Handicap betting picks I’m going for some Unders and Overs.
Bournemouth vs Manchester City (August 26, 19:30 GMT+8)
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have started reasonably well; and while the other half of Manchester celebrates early spectacular wins, I have the feeling the partnership of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus could destroy some teams this season. Bournemouth, despite losing two games, also love to play attacking football.
For my opening 🌟🌟 bet, with odds at 1.89, I’m going for Over 1.25 goals before half time.
West Bromwich Albion vs Stoke City (August 27, 20:30 GMT+8)
The Baggies are riding high with two Tony Pulis-inspired victories, snuffing the life out of Bournemouth and Burnley with a pair of 1-0s. Meanwhile, Stoke got off the mark last week with a single goal victory over Arsenal, having suffered a 1-0 defeat on the opening weekend.
I probably won’t miss my Sunday Lunch for this one but will make a 🌟🌟 punt on Under 2.00 goals at odds of 1.92.
Huddersfield Town vs Southampton (August 26, 22:00 GMT+8)
The Terriers have made a fantastic start to their first season in the Premier League and long may that continue! But this league is the toughest in the world, and every game presents a huge challenge. The next one for Huddersfield is a Southampton side with a win and a draw under its belt.
With odds of 2.14, a bet on Southampton to win is my third 🌟🌟 bet.
