The Suns remain scorching hot with the league-best win streak of 10 consecutive games, but they’ll face a tricky challenge when they’ll host the Nets tomorrow.
Elsewhere, the Pistons, Bucks, Raptors, Timberwolves, Bulls, and Spurs are to defend their homecourt against the Pelicans, Wizards, Heat, Nuggets, Magic, and Warriors respectively to round out our seven-game NBA schedule.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Detroit Pistons
The Pelicans aim to produce better NBA 2022 results as they’re fresh from two consecutive back-to-backs, which has led to four straight losses.
Health has been an issue for New Orleans as their key players have been in and out of their rotation. Josh Hart, Devonte Graham, and Brandon Ingram were bothered by lingering leg issues while Jonas Valanciunas had a non-COVID illness.
But compared to before, they’re healthier now so they appear to be more equipped to beat the Pistons – who are the second-worst team with a 12-37 record.
Cade Cunningham has been good as advertised for the Pistons, but it’s clear that he needs more production from others. Detroit are hoping to get that, though, with the returns of Kelly Olynyk and Jerami Grant.
Betting Tip: Detroit Pistons Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.93
Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Wizards are overmatched against the Bucks since they’ll be missing one of their best players.
Washington announced recently that Bradley Beal sprained his left wrist during their game against Memphis last Saturday. With him sidelined for the next two games, Kyle Kuzma and Spencer Dinwiddie are expected to pick up the slack.
The Bucks, meanwhile, will aim to bounce back after being drubbed by the Nuggets yesterday. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday didn’t play particularly well in the said match, but they should fare much better tomorrow.
Betting Tip: Milwaukee Bucks Asian Handicap -11.50 @ 1.95
Miami Heat @ Toronto Raptors
Miami and Toronto are to lock horns again days after their epic 3OT match, to which the Raptors came away with a 124-120 victory.
After that, the Raptors extended their streak to two games as they defeated a Trae Young-less Hawks squad. The Heat, in contrast, suffered another disheartening loss in Boston.
Gary Trent Jr., Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby are all playing well for the Raptors, and they’re favoured by the SBOTOP NBA 2022 odds to win again since the Heat don’t have a full lineup.
Jimmy Butler was unavailable vs. the Celtics and he’s questionable tomorrow due to a toe issue. Moreover, Kyle Lowry remains MIA for the eighth consecutive game for personal reasons.
Betting Tip: Toronto Raptors Asian Handicap -2.50 @ 1.98
Denver Nuggets @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Two of the league’s most versatile big men are going head-to-head in Minny tomorrow.
Nikola Jokic continues to put up monster numbers for the Nuggets while leading them to the top half of the Western Conference. On the other hand, Karl-Anthony Towns is fresh from a triple-double in their beatdown of the Jazz yesterday.
It’s highly likely that they’ll cancel each other out, so this matchup boils down to the production of their other teammates.
Unfortunately for Denver, they don’t have another reliable star alongside Jokic, while Towns has the likes of D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards.
Betting Tip: Minnesota Timberwolves Asian Handicap -3.50 @ 1.98
Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls
The Bulls can extend their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with yet another victory tomorrow.
After suffering a loss against San Antonio last Saturday, Chicago got back on track by defeating Portland as their Big 3 all had fine performances.
DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, and Zach LaVine scored at least 20 points, and they’ll look to keep it going against Orlando – who are the league’s worst team at 11-40
Betting Tip: Chicago Bulls Asian Handicap -10.50 @ 1.88
Golden State Warriors @ San Antonio Spurs
Steph Curry broke out of his slump vs. the Rockets and he’ll aim to do a similar performance vs. the Spurs. The 33-year-old had 40 points in the last time out and Golden State are now enjoying a six-game win streak.
San Antonio, meanwhile, are fresh from a narrow defeat vs. the Suns despite missing their key players. Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Jakob Poeltl were ruled out in the said game, but they should be available tomorrow.
Brooklyn Nets @ Phoenix Suns
The Nets are hopeful that James Harden is available for their marquee matchup vs. the Suns.
The Beard has missed the past two games due to a hand strain and his presence would alleviate Brooklyn’s depleted slate since they’re already missing the likes of Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge.
Should Harden sit this one out, Kyrie Irving will have to shoulder the heavy load for the Nets – who have fallen to sixth in the East because of a four-game skid.
The Suns have also missed Deandre Ayton due to an ankle injury. However, compared to Brooklyn, they haven’t skipped a beat because of the resurgence of Bismack Biyombo and JaVale McGee.
Betting Tip: Phoenix Suns Asian Handicap -7.50 @ 1.95
