NBA Preview: Bucks Looking to Get Back on Track, Warriors Finding Their Groove

The NBA will feature a six-game schedule as several powerhouse teams in the Eastern Conference will aim to improve their respective win-loss records.

The Celtics, Sixers, Bucks, and the Heat will take on some lower-tier teams, while the Thunder and the Warriors will face against slumping opponents.

Tune in here at SBOBET as we provide you the preview of tomorrow’s games.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics

The Celtics have had a superb December as they’ve won eight out of their last 10 games to rise to the second seed of the Eastern Conference.

But more importantly, the team is healthier than ever before.

Gordon Hayward made his way back into the starting lineup after suffering a foot injury, while Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have provided a much-needed scoring boost for Brad Stevens.

Kemba Walker has been instrumental as well, particularly with his three-point shot to where he knocked down five attempts in their last game against Toronto. It was his 12th game of the season with at least that many makes.

They will face a Cavaliers team who has enjoyed a three-game winning streak. The John Beilein-coached squad has won against the Hornets, Grizzlies, and Hawks in close contests.

Kevin Porter Jr. in particular has shown immense improvement as he’s been given more playing time since Jordan Clarkson was traded away to Utah, per our NBA 2019 news.

He will be supported by their leading scorer in Collin Sexton, who has been averaging 17.8 points per game.

Betting tip: Celtics Asian Handicap -13.50 @1.98

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Charlotte Hornets

Oklahoma City will look to bounce back as they visit Charlotte tomorrow.

The Thunder saw their winning streak snapped after four games after suffering a blowout against Memphis to end their five-game homestand. They will face a Hornets team that has been inconsistent so far this season.

Charlotte had a three-game winning streak earlier this month. But since then, they have only won once in their last five.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads OKC in scoring with 19.1 points per game. He will be backstopped by the likes of Steven Adams, Chris Paul, and Dennis Schroder.

The Hornets will continue to rely on Devonte Graham, as he posting 19.3 points per contest. He is a prime candidate for this year’s Most Improved Player award.

Betting tip: Thunder Asian Handicap -4.50 @1.94

Philadelphia Sixers @ Orlando Magic

After winning against the Bucks on Christmas day, the Sixers will visit the Magic as they try to extend their win streak to four games.

Joel Embiid showed out in their last game by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds, all while stifling the Greek Freak in the process. Rounding out the starting five will be the likes of Ben Simmons, Al Horford, Tobias Harris, and Josh Richardson.

This time, he will face a returning Nikola Vucevic who has been big for Orlando. The veteran slotman continues to be a double-double threat with norms of 17.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game.

Other Magic players, however, need to step it up in order to boost their NBA 2019 odds of winning in this game.

Betting tip: Sixers Asian Handicap -3.00 @1.94

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

Milwaukee will look to add more misery to Atlanta’s season, who currently hold the worst record in the league at 6-25.

The Bucks have won their nine of their last 10 games in against the Hawks, and they might grab their 10th tomorrow with the way that they are playing.

Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to dazzle by averaging 30.5 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. Khris Middleton is their second-leading scorer with 18.5.

The Hawks will lean on to the high-scoring ways of Trae Young, who has posted 29.0 points per contest.

Betting tip: Bucks Asian Handicap +11.00 @2.04

Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat

Miami Heat is looking for an easy win in the NBA against the Indiana Pacers
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler dribbles the ball during their NBA match

The Pacers and the Heat will face off for the first time this season. And this time, the home team will hope to do better in their season series against Indiana.

Miami went 0-3 against Indiana last season and it’s possible that it will all change with the arrival of Jimmy Butler and super rookies Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn.

Indiana will be short-handed in the backcourt with their key players suffering injuries. Malcolm Brogdon has a strained right hamstring while Victor Oladipo is expected to miss at least one more month. That leaves the likes of TJ McConnell and the Holiday brothers to lead their backcourt.

As for the big men matchup, Domantas Sabonis will face Bam Adebayo, while TJ Warren and Duncan Robinson are expected to help in terms of scoring.

Betting tip: Heat Asian Handicap -5.00 @1.95

Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors

In what was one of the big surprises of the season, the Warriors are suddenly finding their groove despite missing their stars in the lineup.

Draymond Green has been the lone star from the Warriors’ glory days since Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are out due to serious injuries.

Golden State recently won against the Pelicans and the Timberwolves before following up with a huge victory against the Rockets on Christmas Day.

Several role players have stepped up for the Warriors. Damion Lee churned out a career game against Houston while Alec Burks and D’Angelo Russell have contributed continuously in scoring.

They will face a desperate Suns squad who in search for a much-needed win. Phoenix have lost seven straight and three of those games were decided by two or fewer points.

Devin Booker is one guy to look out for if you’re Golden State and we can expect their defence to key on him just like what they did in their last game.

Betting tip: Warriors Asian Handicap +3.50 @1.90
